It was a perfectly flawless day.

The scenery she saw the moment she opened her eyes was just like that, the leisurely lunch she enjoyed after a long while was just like that, and even the weather was perfect. And in the late afternoon, Woo Jin proposed a date for just the two of them—suggesting they go out for dinner alone, without the kids, and return afterward.

Tae Eun readily agreed. Lately, they had both been so busy it felt like a million years had passed since they last had a cozy, intimate date together.

After sending the kids ahead to the main building, the two hurriedly prepared to go out. Silently changing clothes in the dressing room, Woo Jin naturally zipped up her dress while Tae Eun smoothed the collar of his shirt without a word.

Just as they got into the car and were about to leave the annex, Tae Eun spoke.

“Let’s go see the kids one more time before we go.”

“Again? We just saw them—do you miss them already?”

“No. Since Aunties have also arrived, I’d like to greet them too.”

“Alright. If you say so, then so be it.”

Woo Jin turned the steering wheel, heading not toward the entrance of the Jangwon main residence but directly to the main building. As the car stopped, Tae Eun stepped out nimbly first. Upon entering the building, the staff approached to greet them.

“Where are the children and the Aunties?”

“They’re in the garden. The weather is so nice today, so they decided to have tea there—and the kids wanted to play with bubbles.”

“Understood.”

After exchanging light greetings, Tae Eun walked down the corridor toward the garden with Woo Jin. On their way, she noticed a flower snapped from a ceramic vase near the window—likely broken accidentally while someone was adjusting the curtains.

Unable to overlook even the smallest detail, Tae Eun went over to fix it, and Woo Jin naturally waited for her. Since they were close to the garden entrance, the children’s giggles and the Aunties’ voices carried clearly to them.
