The Bad Husband (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 62
[At home?]
“Yes, Aunt.”
Young Ja’s call came suddenly. It was a call she no longer needed to answer, yet out of habit, her finger unconsciously tapped the answer button.
Tae Eun swallowed hard. Her blood ran dry with anxiety—what if Young Ja had already heard about their separation and was calling because of it?
[Are you free tomorrow, by any chance?]
Young Ja’s voice sounded exactly as usual, giving no clue to her intentions.
“May I ask what this is regarding?”
Woo Jin had asked her to keep their separation a secret for now. He wouldn’t have told anyone first, yet there was no rule saying Young Ja couldn’t find out on her own. If someone truly wanted to know, it wasn’t something that could stay hidden.
[It won’t hurt you, so don’t be scared. Do you think I’d drag you over here just to do something awful to you while you’re still grieving?]
As always, her tone was sharp, but this time the meaning behind it wasn’t so harsh. Sensing that, Tae Eun nodded. She had no real reason to refuse anyway.
“Yes, Aunt. I’m free. Where should I go?”
[I’ll send a car for you around 11 a.m. tomorrow.]
“Then, please send it to a nearby café instead of my home. I’ll have some business in that area around that time.”
[Fine. Got it. Send me the address tomorrow morning.]
“Yes, I will.”

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.
