A sunny Sunday afternoon, past noon.

The elevator doors opened, and a child-sized electric car rolled forward smoothly.

“Mommy, hurry! Hurry!”

Perched on the electric car steered by his mother, Si Woo bounced up and down, urging her to go faster.

“Yoo Si Woo. Sit up straight.”

When she stopped the car to correct him, Si Woo pressed his backside firmly against the seat and gripped the steering wheel tightly.

Only after confirming he was seated safely did Da Jung resume operating the vehicle.

“Alright, off we go again.”

Given the unusually fine weather, she had decided to take Si Woo outside to play with the electric car.

At first sight of the expensive electric car gifted by Cha Jung Hyeok, Da Jung had felt deeply burdened—it was far too costly, and accordingly, exquisitely crafted.

Experiencing a sharp turn, Si Woo let out a wild, winding shriek like a mountain pass. At the sight, Da Jung let slip a soft chuckle, nearly a sigh.

Inside the house, all he could do was alternate between forward and reverse, so slicing through the breeze at speed must have felt thrilling indeed.
