“I love you, Si Woo!”

As they shared a tender farewell in front of the kindergarten, Si Woo boldly confessed.

He said he loved her.

Unable to suppress a soft smile at his adorable earnestness, Da Jung pulled her son tightly into her arms.

“Mommy loves our Si Woo so much too.”

“No, Si Woo loves you more!”

“I don’t think so. Mommy loves you more.”

“No! Si Woo loves you more! More and more!”

Watching Si Woo stubbornly insist on winning, Da Jung chuckled helplessly, as if there was nothing she could do with him.

How was she supposed to react when, after causing ten million won worth of damage, he remained this cheerfully innocent?

Even her sly little fox of a son surely knew he’d done something wrong.

Though he might not grasp the value of ten million won, he certainly noticed how repeatedly his mother sighed, as if the ground itself were collapsing beneath her—enough for him to pick up on that much.

Perhaps that was why, over the entire weekend, she felt she’d heard his confession of love at least a hundred times.

Si Woo had done nothing wrong. If anything, his only fault was placing the treat jar within reach of the puppy.

After ushering Si Woo inside, Da Jung turned and hurriedly got into her car, heading toward the office.
