『No, it’s just that I felt sorry for the rumor circulating. Although we don’t know each other’s situations, it’s better not to have any unjust misunderstandings, don’t you think?』
Taking a deep breath, Dajeong propped her chin.
“Fine, now that I hear you, your words make sense.”
『Then, are you coming to the alumni meeting this time?』
“Yeah. Let’s not let unjust misunderstandings persist.”
Dajeong took the phone off her ear and blinked at the phone screen indicating the call had ended.
“Just some alumni meeting.”
Dajeong gritted her teeth.
She was fine, but she couldn’t bear the rumors surrounding Shiwoo’s birth due to an affair with a married man.
Who on earth was spreading such baseless rumors? Just wait until they get caught.

After returning from kindergarten, Shiwoo ate a snack, played mobile games for 30 minutes as promised, and then read a book.
Dajeong continued her drawing work whenever she found time. In the midst of that, she felt a sharp pain in her wrist and took out a patch, placing it on her wrist. Since the unfortunate incident a few days ago involving Sunyoung and her daughter, she had been experiencing wrist pain. Although she tried to attribute it to her work to avoid appearing apologetic, the incident involved forcefully gripping and exerting strength, likely causing a solid injury.
While contemplating whether to go to the hospital immediately, the doorbell rang. Seeing an unexpected guest, Dajeong widened her eyes.
“What’s going on with Cha Junghyuk?”
When she asked, Junghyuk’s face wrinkled with displeasure.
“Yuda Jeong. Don’t speak without manners. Don’t treat me like a guest. You’re only named Dajeong, not a bit affectionate.”
Junghyuk complained, frowning.
“Where’s Mother?”
“She went downstairs.”
“Already?”

A sense of regret was evident on his neat face. Even if he didn’t know, if Jeongae were here, she would have warmly greeted us as ‘Mr. Cha’ if nothing else.
As Junghyuk entered the entrance, someone stuck their head out just as the door was about to close.
“I’m here too.”
It was Sol.
“I’m here too, Mr. Jeseu.”
Above Sol’s head, Juho also stuck his head out.
“What’s going on with you two?”
Wondering what kind of scheme they were up to, Dajeong glanced suspiciously, and Juho showed a large box he held in his hand.
“Some good stuff came in, so I brought it for everyone to eat together.”
Juho smiled warmly like a bear.

“It’s moving.”
Dajeong said with a slightly scared tone. Sol naturally took it.
“It’s natural to move when alive.”
“What should we do with this?”
As Dajeong spoke hesitantly, Sol clenched her jaw and thought deeply with a profound expression. Then.
“We should probably separate the shell first, right? That way, we can mix it with rice.”
“How do you separate it?”
“More importantly, since it keeps moving, shouldn’t we kill it first?”
“How? Should we drown it in water?”
That was the best solution Dajeong could think of. However, Sol shook her head decisively.

“Would a creature living in water drown in water? It would be better to put it in the freezer and let it freeze to death.”
“That would take too long. How about putting it in hot water and taking it out? Maybe it won’t be alive then?”
“Alive in boiling water? Oh, that’s cruel……”
Sol made a sound of disgust, shivering.
While sitting at the table, Junghyuk’s eyebrows trembled. Why is she just staring at the delicious crab? She probably doesn’t know how to eat, maybe she hasn’t tried it.
“Two women are here, and my son has been unable to eat for over an hour now?”
Breaking the silence, a discontented voice rang out. There was a somewhat mocking undertone.
As if it was precisely the words he wanted to say, Shiwoo’s gaze moved diagonally upward. Shiwoo was proud of his dad for speaking so confidently.
Dajeong, criticized for not being able to clean the crab, retaliated with wounded pride as a woman.
“Mr. Cha Junghyuk. Do you know that what you just said is gender discrimination?”
“If you don’t want to hear gender discrimination, step aside.”

Junghyuk flicked his fingers and gestured for the two women to leave the cooking area. Then, he immediately looked at Junho.
“What about you? Don’t you mind hearing gender discrimination?”
At Junghyuk’s words, Junho, who had been sticking to peeling garlic like a mistress, raised his head. He shook off his hands, standing up.
“Miss Sol, please come out for a moment. I’ve learned that men should do this.”
“Oh, Junho is cool.”
“Hahaha!”
Expecting various crab dishes such as soup, seasoned crab, and fried crab, the cleaned crabs, due to time constraints and hungry Shiwoo, went straight into the steamer.
The uninvited couple ate a hearty dinner, waited for their ambitions to grow, and then left. Soon, Manager Min came.
“Director. It’s freshly arrived and hot. Eat two bags a day, morning and evening.”
“Thank you.”

Junghyuk received the rectangular box and placed it on the dining table.
“Yuda Jeong. Eat this.”
“What is this…?”
When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
