“Ah, In-ho! Stop it…!”

Su-yeon struggled to free herself from In-ho’s embrace.

“Really? You’re going to do this now? We need to leave. Myung-woo will be here soon…!”

“Let’s go together. It’ll be quick today, I promise.”

“I feel like I’ve been following you to every shooting schedule recently. The staff will definitely complain!”

“Who would complain? Have you heard anyone?”

“It’s not about actually hearing it! Ah, stop, it’s ticklish!”

Su-yeon used all her strength to grab In-ho’s arm.

Although not strong enough to escape, In-ho seemed to realize her discomfort and let go.

Seizing the moment, Su-yeon blurted out.

“You said you were sorry for making me wait last time! Was that all a lie?”

“No, I really meant it.”

In-ho’s voice, which had been whiny, suddenly turned serious.

Finally paying full attention, Su-yeon looked at him properly.

He had gone from mischievous to begging, now looking like a puppy caught in the rain.

“Fine. I’ll go alone…”

Was that all? He turned away, his gaze downcast and trudging off.

His look was incredibly effective at evoking sympathy.

Feeling uncomfortable, Su-yeon knew In-ho just wanted her company at the set and then back home.

It wasn’t a difficult or unreasonable request.

Her concern was about his image. The shoot was supposed to end quickly, but she worried about being branded as overly clingy by the staff.

While Su-yeon wished for a good reputation among those they worked with, In-ho seemed oblivious, pouting childishly.

Though feeling wronged, she couldn’t ignore his downcast demeanor.

Leaving him alone didn’t seem right.

Eventually, Su-yeon gave in.

“Are you sure it’ll end quickly?”

“Yes, really quick.”

“Then promise me one thing.”

“What is it?”

“I’ll stay in the van quietly, so don’t let anyone know I’m there.”

“Okay, is that all?”

In-ho asked cheerfully.

He looked like a child who had just been given a treat.

Finding In-ho adorable, Su-yeon laughed once, pleased by her words’ impact on him.

“I had no idea you had such a childlike side. Your sulking is almost at a 3-year-old level.”

“That’s fine during the day. I won’t be a 3-year-old at night.”

As Su-yeon puckered her lips, she stepped back in alarm.

She felt the coldness of the wardrobe behind her; there was nowhere to run.

Overwhelmed, she saw In-ho read her emotions and close the distance with a meaningful smile.

His expression, though simply a smile, appeared so predatory.

Swallowing nervously, Su-yeon stammered.

“Don’t get any ideas. If you keep this up, I won’t go with you.”
The careless words had an unexpectedly significant effect.

In-ho, frowning in dissatisfaction, halted his steps.

“Ah, seriously. Okay, I won’t. Can’t even have a kiss in a marriage? Am I that petty? To get just one kiss, I have to try so hard.”

Then he disappeared into the dressing room, leaving a sulky impression.

‘If I knew it was just for a kiss, I would have agreed. I thought it was something more…’

Feeling awkward, Su-yeon followed In-ho. She needed to change quickly to keep up, and if he wanted a kiss, it seemed wise to oblige to improve his mood.

Su-yeon quickened her pace, her face flushed.

“In-ho!”

Her elongated call made In-ho turn as if he had been waiting. This had become their unique signal, rather, In-ho’s signal. Whenever Su-yeon drew out his name like that, he knew she would eventually acquiesce.

Convinced she might relent, In-ho embraced Su-yeon tightly. Then he kissed her until he was content.

Soon they arrived at the shooting location, and In-ho was about to leave the van for his final scene.

“Don’t forget the promise you made with me, and do well,” Su-yeon reminded him while adjusting his outfit. It was already neat, thanks to the stylist, but it felt perfectly arranged only after Su-yeon’s touch.

“It’ll end quickly, but if you feel cooped up in the van, come out for a walk. Think about what you want to do afterwards.”

“What do I want to do?”

“Yes. Let’s have dinner and then go out. Let’s have a date.”

“A date?”

Su-yeon looked at In-ho, her face filled with surprise.
It was an unexpected proposal.

Even after many years of marriage to In-ho, Su-yeon had never considered going out on dates due to his profession.

Moreover, In-ho had always been busy, and on his rare days off, they were usually attending parties or events as part of TK Group.

So, their recent trip to the department store had been quite special.

Su-yeon’s eyes sparkled with anticipation, pleasing In-ho immensely.

He loved how she was easily touched and happy over simple things.

On the other hand, he felt sorry for having neglected her over such little things.

But now, instead of dwelling on remorse, he resolved to do better, believing it would be beneficial for both him and Su-yeon.

“I’ll be back soon. Just wait a little.”

In-ho gently caressed Su-yeon’s hair and kissed her lightly.

He wished to stay with her longer, but he really had to go to the set now.

“Take care.”
