Just as Tae Hyuk expected, as soon as Na Young heard the voice calling Professor Choi Tae Hyuk from the rooftop, she hurriedly ran down the stairs.

By the time she stopped while rushing down the stairs absentmindedly, she had already descended far from the rooftop.

Na Young pressed her hand against the wall and exhaled heavily.

She’d been certain she’d been caught red-handed and her heart had sunk.

Fortunately, thanks to Professor Choi Tae Hyuk’s quick thinking, she hadn’t been discovered—but somehow, she’d ended up running away alone.

Though she doubted anyone at the hospital would dare harm Professor Choi Tae Hyuk, she still felt uneasy about having left him alone to take the blame for something they’d done together, so Na Young cautiously poked her head out from the stairwell and looked up.

She couldn’t hear Professor Choi Tae Hyuk coming down.

Too nervous to go back up to the rooftop, she took out her phone to call him—but a message arrived first.

Seeing the rose petal he’d sent along with the message, Na Young’s eyelid twitched slightly.

After they’d overcome the crisis, he’d called her his “goddess of luck,” yet when danger struck again, she’d abandoned him and fled alone.

Could it be… that I really messed up badly?

No. Professor Choi Tae Hyuk is just joking.

This isn’t even that big of a deal—just a random little mishap.

If she were to draw a line between herself and Professor Choi Tae Hyuk over this, that would truly hurt him.

In the past, Na Young definitely would have done exactly that—but now, she had no desire to.
