Tae Hyuk went to Borigulbi Restaurant with Yoon I Na.

When Yoon I Na stopped in front of the restaurant and stared only at its signboard, he turned his head to look at her.

“You said you liked this place so much that you’d come here alone to eat.”

That was a lie.

Yoon I Na couldn’t tell whether he was deliberately mocking her or being sincere—he surely must have noticed it was false.

When he walked into the restaurant, Yoon I Na had no choice but to follow him inside.

Since the restaurant only had one menu item, there was no need to place a separate order.

While Tae Hyuk wiped his hands with a wet tissue, Yoon I Na took out a spoon and set it in front of him.

“Thanks.”

At his words of gratitude, Yoon I Na looked at him with surprised eyes.

Though it was an ordinary phrase she heard every day, this was the first time Choi Tae Hyuk had ever said it to her in fourteen years.

Yoon I Na lowered her trembling hand under the table and pressed it tightly with her other hand.

“Why did you ask me to eat together today?”

She knew there must be a reason.

Otherwise, he’d never have initiated a meal with her himself.
