Thus, he’d earnestly persuaded Yeon Woo—who insisted, “You can’t bother someone who’s busy”—until he finally got her seated in the passenger seat.

“How about an action movie?”

“Not bad.”

“Since it’s a drive-in theater, we can pick all sorts of snacks, right? How about stir-fried gopchang?”

“Sure. Anything’s fine.”

Jun Hwi shifted the car’s gear and delicately turned the steering wheel. Still, he didn’t forget to answer Yeon Woo’s question from the passenger seat.

“You always dump menu decisions on me.”

Yeon Woo, puffing her cheeks full of air, voiced mild dissatisfaction as if she’d expected this.

Despite being swamped with work, the weekend had arrived. This weekend, they’d decided to go to a drive-in theater.

The car stopped in front of the familiar apartment entrance.
