Taming the Dangerous Lawyer Secretly (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 37
“Attorney…”
Jun Hwi, still looking exhausted, kept rubbing his face with his free hand but didn’t let go of Yeon Woo.
“Don’t ever do that again. That thing…”
His voice, deeper and more subdued than usual, gently brushed against Yeon Woo, who remained firmly held in his grasp.
“Y-yes? Yes?”
“Your lips… um… lipstick.”
So it was the faded rose shade again, apparently. Was it really that bad—bad enough for even someone half-asleep to point it out?
And his very first words upon waking were telling her not to do it again!
She was utterly dumbfounded. Yeon Woo forgot she’d been trying to escape and let out an involuntary, awkward laugh.
“All day today, I’ve been thinking about how much… you…”
Jun Hwi closed his eyes tightly, then slowly opened them and reached out his other arm toward Yeon Woo.
His warm hand touched Yeon Woo’s smiling lips.
The soft pressure felt surprisingly pleasant. Though her mind told her to push his hand away, her body let his thumb gently trace her lips, pressing softly to create a slight gap.
“…I couldn’t focus because of this.”
His eyes, gazing up at Yeon Woo who was positioned slightly above him, looked fierce. Suddenly feeling like prey cornered by a predator, she swallowed hard.

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.
