Tame or Be Captured (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 098
Asha danced barefoot to the music.
Her expression as she danced looked freer than ever before.
In truth, the lesson she had loved most during her etiquette training in the imperial palace was none other than “dance.”
When dancing, it felt as though she could breathe a little easier amidst the suffocating life of the palace, and above all, knowing she possessed talent in something made her feel truly alive.
Asha turned with movements as light as a butterfly.
The moment her foot touched the ground, she glided sideways like flowing water, appearing at first glance as though she barely let her feet meet the floor.
As Asha boldly turned and leapt in time with the increasingly passionate melody, Karaf involuntarily twitched his body.
Each time she lifted a leg and arched her back to maintain balance, the sheer translucent fabric beneath her skirt fluttered like butterfly wings.
Her slightly dewy face and neckline, along with the subtle movement of muscles in her slender arms—all of it was vivid and beautiful like a living painting.
But just then—
Karaf’s eyes widened, and simultaneously, the surrounding nobles’ eyes grew wide as well.
Asha began drawing upon her innate power over the wind.
Golden, glittering wind flowed from her hands and splendidly enveloped her dress.
Her appearance resembled that of fireflies illuminating the dark night sky with golden light.
The nobles and temple attendees watched the scene with enchanted expressions.

He looked up at her, his eyebrows drooping: “My hand… has no strength.”
“Shall I… feed you?” she asked tentatively.
He opened his mouth cheerfully: “Ah—”
Thinking she was drowning, he jumped in without hesitation to save her, but nearly drowned himself. In the end, it was she who swam over to rescue him, giving him air underwater.
After emerging from the water, his ear tips turned red. He lightly brushed his cheek, tucking his sideburns behind his ear, revealing delicate, pink-tinged ear tips. He lowered his gaze, too embarrassed to look at her.

What terrible phrasing. ‘He couldn’t possibly take her…’ She is the empress of the empire, Jackel needs to get with the program. She has shown herself to be stronger and more resilient than anyone else in this novel.
I’m getting the impression that the title of empress doesn’t count for as much as one might think in this empire.
