Tame or Be Captured (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 062
Surprisingly, the arrow Karaf had shot was caught by the wind, veered off course, and began flying in the exact opposite direction.
Everyone shielded their eyes from the fierce wind and turned toward the direction from which the sound had come.
There, Asha had suddenly appeared, riding a brown horse and racing toward them, her golden hair streaming behind her.
She had spurred her horse into a dead gallop the moment she heard the patrol horn.
Jackal’s eyes widened as he shouted,
“No…! Run away from here…!”
Hearing his desperate tone and seeing his anguished expression, Asha’s heart sank like a stone.
‘Run away, Asha…!’
Looking at the current standoff between Lycaon and the Cactus Knights, the scene from her dream in the forest flooded back to her with startling clarity.
The thought that what she’d seen in her dream might unfold here right before her eyes sent shivers racing down her spine.
Still mounted, Asha quickly scanned the fallen members of the organization scattered around, bleeding on the ground.
Had she arrived just a little later, this forest would have been drenched in Lycaon blood.
Though cold sweat beaded on her brow, Asha tightened her grip firmly on the reins.
In her dream, she’d been powerless—forced to watch helplessly as everyone died. But this time was different.
She absolutely could not allow that horrifying tragedy to happen again. She would stop it, even if it cost her life.

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.

Not practically, it is a form of torture. Jackel didn’t jump into the water on his own while tied to the boulder.
It seems backward that the Empress is invited to a Duchess’ tea party.
What terrible phrasing. ‘He couldn’t possibly take her…’ She is the empress of the empire, Jackel needs to get with the program. She has shown herself to be stronger and more resilient than anyone else in this novel.
