Tame or Be Captured (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 039
Asha looked down at them with the dignity of an empress, her back straight and without a trace of fluster or shyness.
Her bold composure left them flustered instead.
Though he’d heard she was from a minority group, she clearly wasn’t an ordinary woman.
Among them, Duke Blossom, whose hair was pink like cherry blossoms, gave Asha a gentle smile—it seemed she had caught his fancy.
As head of House Blossom, Shihan Blossom struck Asha as a lighthearted, playful man, notorious for his flirtatious reputation.
‘Karaf would be upset if he saw this…’
Asha glanced sideways at him—and then jumped in surprise.
Karaf was already glaring fiercely at the duke, his fingers tightly gripping the armrest.
His expression was so murderous that anyone might have mistaken him for staring down an assassin targeting the empress.
Just as she turned back ahead with discomfort, Asha’s eyes met those of someone with mysterious blue hair.
Count Kiam Delphinium.
He was the very man who had driven her minority village to ruin in the past…
Asha could never forget his cruel face, laughing as he trampled her village that day.
On the dirt ground, soldiers had roughly grabbed her by the hair and dragged her barefoot before him.
His beast-like, pale yellow eyes had stared at her meaningfully, as if spotting prey.

One-line summary: Male lead chases female lead. The male lead’s love is a bit sick, an invincible love brain.
Synopsis
During a voyage at sea, Jiang Yang accidentally captures a merman.
Servant: I heard that mermen are fierce and brutal.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman obediently rubbing her palm like a puppy: “You call this fierce and brutal?”
Servant: I heard that mermen have no human nature.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman with wet puppy eyes, obsessively calling her ‘A Yang’ like a childish infant: “You call this having no human nature?”
With great difficulty, she releases the merman back into the sea and returns to shore.
Who would have thought that in less than half a month, the merman, who should have been freely wandering in the South China Sea, would shed his scales, endure the pain of losing his tail, transform into human legs, and come ashore to find her?
He kneels at her feet, rubbing her palm, with merman tears rolling down: “A Yang, don’t abandon me.”

No way…did Karaf set up this situation with the assassin or kidnapping attempt to earn points?
Not practically, it is a form of torture. Jackel didn’t jump into the water on his own while tied to the boulder.
It seems backward that the Empress is invited to a Duchess’ tea party.
