Tame or Be Captured (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 025
He seemed so intensely interested in lifting his curse that he had even devoured every legendary tale imaginable.
Even beside the bookshelf, butterfly specimens—each meticulously pinned by species—were on display.
Every single one had been captured alive and preserved using chemicals.
Seeing this, Asha broke out in goosebumps once more.
Perhaps he had been desperately yearning all along for the day a butterfly would finally fly to him.
Although he must have been greatly disappointed that the butterfly came from an ethnic minority, it might not be as difficult as she’d thought to capture his interest.
A glimmer of hope had appeared.
Asha closed the book and began tidying his desk.
Karaf hated it when anyone touched or even slightly moved the documents he was reviewing.
There was a famous incident—so well-known that no one in the palace was unaware of it—where a single misplaced document nearly cost a servant his head.
Ever since that incident, the servants had only dared to carefully dust the surface of the desk, never touching the scattered papers, which made his desk look terribly messy and chaotic at a glance.
But Asha knew exactly how he organized his documents and boldly got to work.
She didn’t sort the papers by similar topics; instead, she arranged them in a precise order—from the most urgent matters to the more complex ones requiring deeper thought.
She could roughly guess which matters were urgent based on the dates written on the documents and how far they were placed from his pen.
Karaf, upon receiving batches of documents, always pushed the non-urgent ones far away in one go.

Cold Male Lead Became My Clingy Husband (Female-Dominant)
Feng Bai Su transmigrated into a matriarchal novel, becoming the sister of the female protagonist and the Seventh Princess of the Feng Ling Kingdom.
After working herself to death in her previous life, finally reincarnating as a princess, she only wanted to be a lazy fish who could eat, sleep, and play.
Until she met the male protagonist from the book, Wei Jing Mo, and he took a liking to her!
Wei Jing Mo is the top young man in Feng Ling City, talented in both appearance and ability, from a prestigious family, with a cold and otherworldly appearance, a figure like the bright moon in the hearts of noble ladies. It was thought that only the most powerful and talented noble lady in Feng Ling City would be worthy of such a brilliant young man. Who knew that this young gentleman would secretly admire the infamous Seventh Princess?
Short scene 1:
Feng Bai Su looked at the young man crying like a pear blossom in the rain before her, and couldn’t help but doubt her life.
Wasn’t the male lead described as a cold and otherworldly figure in the book?
Then who was this poor little thing crying with swollen red eyes and tear-stained face?
Short scene 2:
Wei Jing Mo stared intently at Feng Bai Su who was about to go out, wanting to say, “Be careful on the road.”
Before he could speak, Feng Bai Su suddenly bent down and bit his cheek.
Her peach blossom eyes were full of disdain: “Tsk! You’re so clingy!”
Wei Jing Mo: “…”
A talented fox spirit female lead with a flirtatious appearance but actually abstinent VS A cold-looking but actually naive and clingy little jealous male lead

No way…did Karaf set up this situation with the assassin or kidnapping attempt to earn points?
Not practically, it is a form of torture. Jackel didn’t jump into the water on his own while tied to the boulder.
It seems backward that the Empress is invited to a Duchess’ tea party.
