I broke out in a cold sweat, fearing Lord Kaidel might call me “Miss Roar” in front of Director Royman.
But Lord Kaidel overtook us and called out my name.
“What are you doing, Miss Rorisha?”

I shot a sharp glare at the back of his head and followed behind.
Director Royman approached me and whispered,
“How do you know Lord Kaidel?”

The director gave up asking and walked on.
Soon, a large door appeared before us. Beside it stood a small desk; when Lord Kaidel went over and said something, the palace servant there stood up and disappeared.
We followed Lord Kaidel through that door.

While Lord Kaidel lit the lamp, I clamped my hand over my mouth.
Shelves stretched high and wide—so vast that even craning my neck fully couldn’t reveal their ends. Most of the visible spines bore the lion crest.

After emerging from the water, his ear tips turned red. He lightly brushed his cheek, tucking his sideburns behind his ear, revealing delicate, pink-tinged ear tips. He lowered his gaze, too embarrassed to look at her.

How did the count end up marrying that? I felt bad for the countess at first, she was probably already married or engaged to the count when Roba’s mother ran away. But clearly we do see Count and Roba’s mother share a deep history. The Count is so revered and powerful, why hasn’t he realized the countess was bitterly involved in hiding Roba’s mother? You can’t be with a woman for like 18 years and not realize her underhanded nature, especially with how your illegitimate child acts around them. Count also takes part in neglect- Misha’s way of thinking takes part from her mother waaayyy too much, to be the blood daughter of the Count shouldn’t at least have a rightful way of thinking even if she isn’t smart

Thief? I wonder what she means. But also how are they able to treat the count’s daughter so carelessly? I’m a little confused on how powerful a “lion” is compared to their respective titles duke/count/unknown. You know I think Roba’s mother might have a connection to the second lion that was barely mentioned. I also suspect soon there will be discord in the countdom house.
