Around noon, Eustia strode across the corridor of the Empress’s Palace with an unusually solemn expression. Even the steps of her maids trailing behind her were perfectly synchronized.

Soon, Eustia halted before the audience chamber. At the signal of her gaze, the door to the chamber opened promptly, and without hesitation, she stepped inside.
