“I hurried to enjoy the tea first, but it seems that you’ve already arrived, Young Lady.”

“Your Majesty mentioned yesterday that I should come see you, and my heart fluttered, so I woke up early this morning. I hope I didn’t disturb Her Majesty’s time.”

Relia smiled kindly and politely lowered her gaze. Despite appearing nonchalant, in reality, her heart was beating anxiously, as if it might burst at any moment.

Fortunately, Yustia’s returning voice had a welcoming tone.

“If it’s to enjoy tea together, I’m glad to have someone to share it with. Let’s sit down.”

Yustia sat in front of the table and gestured for Relia to take a seat. Only then did she instruct Teroth to prepare the tea.

Teroth bowed slightly and hesitated to prepare the tea Yustia enjoyed. Other maids, following Yustia’s orders, guarded the entrance to the greenhouse, keeping their distance.

Because of this, Relia had to feel the atmosphere of being alone with Yustia, with the table placed in the center.

The tension became so intense that it felt as if her dry mouth would automatically swallow. When Teroth bowed properly to prepare the tea Yustia enjoyed, Yustia finally spoke.

“I asked for your time today to express my gratitude for what happened yesterday.”

Yustia spoke with a kind and unassuming tone, smiling graciously. Relia was just left bewildered. She had no idea what she had done so well for Yustia to come out like this.
“Relia, I was bothered by what you said, and it’s true that you called for Reurian immediately, but I didn’t expect you to apologize directly to Reurian.”

Yustia added, explaining with a smile. Only then did Relia, who understood Yustia’s words, smile faintly and lower her gaze.

To anyone, it seemed like an attitude of submission to the other party. Yustia was satisfied with that appearance. Apart from the maids whose status difference was clear, there was no one who blindly submitted to her to this extent.

To Yustia, Relia was the source of self-esteem. It had been that way for a while. On days like today when Relia lowered herself, Yustia felt like walking on clouds.

Reurian was her one and only son, born from her womb. Her precious son had relied solely on her since he was young.

There were certainly parts that resembled Gadro, but there were far more parts that resembled herself. Moreover, if she gently blew some wind, especially considering how much the child had followed her, his heart would surely sway.

So she hoped Relia would endure until then. Even if Reurian acted harshly, if Relia steadfastly held her ground, everything would eventually return to its original place.
