Benjamin twisted his blade and thrust it in. As he twisted his wrist, the force grew even fiercer.

Tatante tilted his head back and gritted his teeth.

Tatante grimaced and swung his sword. Their blades grazed each other’s flat sides as they narrowly missed.

The flat edges scraped roughly against one another.

Benjamin twisted his wrist and struck down hard. There was no flashy technique—just heavy, thunderous blows.

“You’re not the type who can’t dodge.”

“I’m about to return to my homeland soon—do you really intend to leave a sword mark on my body now?”

Because they knew each other well, neither held back when targeting vital points. Tatante clicked his tongue as he spoke.
