“Are you okay?”

Baek I Hyun handed me a cup of tea. So he had stuff like this at home. I took it and drank.

Ever since I arrived at Baek I Hyun’s place, my phone hadn’t stopped ringing. Of course, it was Cheon Shin Woo calling. The moment I saw over ten missed calls, I simply turned my phone off completely.

For a brief moment, I worried Cheon Shin Woo might do something to Baek I Hyun, but somehow I was equally certain that wouldn’t happen. Sipping my tea, I blankly stared at the TV screen. Coincidentally, the news was reporting that the top floor of the Coffee Cookie Guild building had been completely destroyed.

“Heh.”

I turned off the TV….

Even though we’d ordered chicken, Baek I Hyun had prepared various other snacks as well, arranging everything neatly on the living room table. Smiling, he said,

“No matter what choice you make, I’ll support you. You can stay here as long as you’d like.”

“I don’t plan on staying that long.”

“What if we just lived together permanently?”

“Well… I’ll try to figure something out within a week.”
