The sound of leaves brushing against each other filled the space between gusts of wind. Another coarse insult hurled toward me, but once again, I ignored it.

still, he wasn’t the merciless mass murderer he was made out to be.

Cheon Shin Woo had his own standards, and he only killed those who violated them.

If you asked me whether he’d ever killed anyone truly innocent, I’d say I didn’t know.

Were all those countless people who bore grudges against him, all those he’d killed—were they all truly innocent?

…If they really were innocent, then Senior Se Jin’s death would’ve been nothing more than an accident.
