Sister of the Ranking 1st (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 75

“…….”

Ah. I had a dumb dream.

The lights hadn’t been turned off, so the harsh glare immediately stabbed my eyes. Ugh. Did I doze off on the couch?

Rubbing my dry eyes, I sat up and glanced around. Outside the window, darkness had already settled, quietly enveloping the city.

“…….”

What was that dream about again? I wiped the drool from the corner of my mouth. My body felt light. Checking the clock, exactly an hour had passed.

The unpleasant feeling from the dream lingered, dragging my mood down. I couldn’t recall the details. Stretching after getting up, I tossed my still blood-scented clothes into the washing machine.

‘If they still stink after washing, I’ll just throw them away…….’

After starting the washer and tidying up a bit, I sat back on the sofa and thought for a while.

Min Yu Shin wouldn’t be coming for about a week. As always, there was no telling when Cheon Shin Woo might show up.

I looked up Cheon Shin Woo’s official schedule. Aside from a few interviews and Gate raids, it was mostly empty. With no schedule at all, what on earth was this guy so busy doing? But I quickly brushed aside my curiosity about him.

For a whole week, I’d have complete freedom—no one interfering, no one watching me.

I tried thinking about what to do with this free time, but nothing came to mind. I don’t know. I turned on my phone and checked the news for anything interesting. As usual, it was filled with familiar reports—deaths caused by Gates, some popular Hunter’s latest antics.

Did Cheon Shin Woo expect I’d eventually give up and do nothing at all? If so, his guess wouldn’t have been entirely wrong.

If no one had contacted me, I probably really would’ve just lazed around, bored out of my mind by the lingering stench.
