“Please hold back, please!”

“Hmm.”

I had nearly forgotten about his other side, having only seen his kind and friendly demeanor towards me. This man is Cheon Shinwoo, the notorious and unruly individual, known for the infamous ‘dog leash incident.’

‘When I was obediently restrained by a leash, you should have known your limits.’

On a day when the laws regulating hunters became overly strict, the judiciary, with ridiculous reasons, arrested Cheon Shinwoo. He resolved that complicated case, whose details I couldn’t fully grasp, very simply.

He killed everyone involved.

Judges, prosecutors, witnesses, politicians – anyone who tried to bind the existence known as the top-ranked hunter, he eliminated them all.

Everyone expected him to become a villain, but the system acquitted him.

Standing alone under the sky, or perhaps a sky stained in red blood.

People called him ‘Cheon (Solitary Sky)’ for that.

Despite this, I couldn’t believe the scene unfolding before me.

Cheon Shinwoo mercilessly crushed the host’s leg, and Min Yushin wiped his face in disbelief. Staff members screamed and fled.

“Let’s call it a day for the interview. Tell them to write whatever they want in the articles. They think I’m easy since I played along nicely. I should probably shake things up soon.”

“Please, just hold back this one time. Please?”

Cheon Shinwoo looked at Min Yushin, who was trying to calm him down, with an annoyed expression. I thought he might do something more, but fortunately, no further chaos ensued.

The situation was quickly resolved. The director announced the end of filming with a shaky voice, and an ambulance arrived to take away the groaning Lee Se-han.

All I could do was stand there dumbfounded, losing my sense of reality to the events that had unfolded.

“Park Ha-young.”

As I stood there, Cheon Shinwoo, who had left the sorting out to his secretary, approached me. The chilling expression from moments ago was gone, replaced by a gentle smile.

I felt goosebumps. The fact that he could smile so nonchalantly after brutally harming someone was terrifying.

At the same time, a strange feeling arose.

I was scared of him, yet not scared. Before I could question my own feelings, Cheon Shinwoo, as he had done before, gently stroked my head with his large hand.

“Looks like you were startled.”

“Uh, yes…?”

“Got scared, did you? Are you okay?”

“Yes…”

Why are you doing this to me? As I was about to voice the question that had risen to my throat.

“There really is something between you two!”

Min Yushin, who had barely managed to control the situation, ran over and exclaimed. The expression on Cheon Shinwoo’s face disappeared instantly.

“Really driving me crazy, I thought today would pass without incident… What exactly did you hear?”

“…….”

“Can’t you at least speak up? We need to prepare a statement on our end…”

“Park Ha-young.”

“Yes?”

“Would you mind having a chat with me?”

Ignoring Min Yushin, Cheon Shinwoo suggested a conversation. I sincerely wanted to refuse, but I couldn’t.

Hiding my true feelings, I nodded, and he smiled.

Cheon Shinwoo led me to a room-style restaurant. The place was extravagantly expensive, with each menu item outrageously priced.

“What would you like to eat? Just tell me. I’ll buy you anything you want!”

And, as expected, Min Yushin tagged along.

‘If the two of you are seen talking alone, there could be negative rumors about Ha-young.’

He tagged along with a plausible reason, but since I was scared to be alone with Cheon Shinwoo, I quickly agreed. Cheon Shinwoo reluctantly consented with a lukewarm expression.

“Wow, this place really is delicious. They sometimes do business with us… Ah, are there any unfamiliar menus? I can explain them to you.”

Overly friendly Min Yushin rambled on about various things. I half-listened to his chatter.

After choosing from the recommended items and waiting for the food, Cheon Shinwoo, who had suggested the talk, kept his mouth shut, letting only Min Yushin chatter away.
“Actually, I was in middle school with him. I was so surprised when I first saw his face on the news.”

“Back then, his personality wasn’t as strange as it is now… He’s been getting more sensitive as time passes.”

“Did you know, Ha-young? Most members of the Cheonrang Guild are followers of the Guild Master? But even they dislike going on gate expeditions with him. They’d rather team up with Kang Sora.”

“He looks so somber and melancholic, but he has the taste of an elementary school kid, you know? Ha-young, you saw how he adds syrup to his drinks. Ugh, I can’t understand how he enjoys something so sweet.”

All of Min Yushin’s chatter seemed to be about Cheon Shinwoo. And it wasn’t the kind of talk to have in front of the person himself. As Min Yushin’s mouth opened, Cheon Shinwoo’s expression darkened.

“Ah, but have we really seen each other before? It’s strange, you seem so familiar.”

“That’s what I’m thinking. I don’t have a wide circle, so I would’ve remembered if I had seen you before.”

Male lead is a Destined Young Husband (Female-dominant)

One-sentence summary: Wife-master, listen to my explanation!

Li Ruantang, a young lady from a prestigious family, stumbled and fell. When she woke up, she saw a noble and beautiful young man sitting by her bedside, wiping away tears.

The young master had slightly reddened eyes, and his every move exuded charm.

The sight made Li Ruantang’s eyes hot and her heart flutter. After all, she had made a bet with the young master Meng from the neighboring family. If she couldn’t marry a husband before the end of the year, she would have to admit defeat and give up the jade she had worked so hard to obtain.

Outside the window, the flowers were in full bloom.

Rather than losing the bet, the jade, and her face, Li Ruantang calculated that it would be better to seek marriage with the young master in front of her, killing three birds with one stone.

…

Meng Jun never thought that an accident during a spring outing would lead to them rolling down a cliff and into a river, yet still survive.

Now they were trapped in an unknown village, and Meng Jun had overheard that the family who had rescued them had their own intentions.

After all, it was Li Ruantang who had lost her mind and sought marriage first. He was only trying to protect himself!

Glancing at Li Ruantang, who was listing her own merits, the young husband’s voice softened, and he blushed as he lied, “W-wife-master, Wife-master, don’t you remember me?”

The young husband’s voice was clear and handsome, coaxing Li Ruantang’s heart to be soft and sweet, and she spared no effort to protect him.

It wasn’t until they returned to the capital that Li Ruantang suddenly remembered.

When they had fallen off the cliff, in order not to implicate Wei Yunruo, whom he secretly admired, the young husband had instead pulled her, who was slightly farther away, down the cliff with him…

Short summary by Yuushi L: Initially, the male lead (ML) liked another girl, while the female lead (FL) liked the ML. Both fell off a cliff. The FL temporarily lost her memory, and the ML, fearing others might take advantage of him, claimed FL was his wife while they were staying in a village. Later, when they returned home, the FL regained her memories and remembered that the ML liked someone else, so she kept her distance from him. However, during their time living together in the countryside, the ML’s view of the FL had completely changed. From this point, his pursuit of the FL begins.
