“I’m your older sister’s little brother!”

“Exactly.”

She gently stroked his gray hair and stepped into the carriage.

Noel was treated with great respect by everyone. Though still known publicly as Beatus’s illegitimate child, he had recently been formally registered into the main family line.

Noel Beatus—he was now permitted to bear the Beatus name.

It was unexpected that the first thing his elder brother, now head of House Beatus, had done was to add Noel to the family register.
