This story is so convoluted that it can be hard to keep track of everything that has happened and is going on!
Hopefully the war doesn’t drag on for too long and we can get back to the romance 😜 I wanna see more CalpherxVanessa, maybe some DevirxTania, BernxOphelia or FelicexSelina. Speaking of Selina, that poor girl was trapped with the crown prince this whole time. Everyone else manage to escape, yet she was left alone to suffer. Poor woman.

Though I will say that I feel bad for Eshir that he knew the hatred the emperor had for him and that his own mother didn’t realize he was the son of her lover, and that Eshir was possessed by the evil dragon. While I can feel sorry for him, he still doesn’t deserve Vanessa.

So Eshir was a wimp beforehand and basically relied on Vanessa to save him all the time? Yeah. I no longer feel conflicted. Calpher is the only one perfect for Vanessa.
