Seduced the Doomed Villain (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 147
The current banquet was both the First Prince’s birthday celebration and the occasion to officially announce the Crown Prince. The King had invited all the nobles of the kingdom.
However, not a single neighboring country attended, nor were envoys from any empire present.
This was all orchestrated in advance by Count Hugo and the Head Chamberlain, who had conspired together—to prevent foreign nationals from being dragged into the rebellion and causing diplomatic complications.
Since these nobles already harbored strong resentment toward foreigners, not sending invitations abroad raised no suspicion.
All palace staff, including the Head Chamberlain, sided with Count Hugo.
The King, who intended to appoint a Crown Prince and wage war against the empire, seemed utterly delusional.
How could he appear so carefree, completely oblivious to what lay ahead for him?
Watching the King rejoice as if the gifts offered to the First Prince were his own, Baekya’s face twisted into a cold smirk.
‘Seeing that face ends today.’
Preparations were complete. Troops waited outside the main palace, and palace servants loyal to him awaited Baekya’s signal.
Everything was perfectly arranged—except perhaps Diana’s expression. This coup was their affair; she had no role to play, so they’d kept her in the dark.
“But… why do you wonder about that?”
Why wonder? Baekya clearly had no grasp of the current situation’s severity.
Unaware of just how dense the ominous aura was—something only she could perceive—he spoke with casual ease.
With this level of corrupted mana, it would be fortunate if no monsters burst forth as they had in the imperial palace.

After Being Cheated On, She Picked Up a Treasure (Female-dominant)
One-line summary: The husband I married on a whim had been secretly in love with me for a long time.
On the day when Jun Shao finally obtained the imperial decree for her marriage, Lan Qu, the person she had admired for six years, defied the decree and ran away.
Her gentleness and devotion, her promise of a lifetime together, were all disregarded by him. Instead, he dreamed of entering the palace to serve the Emperor’s sister as a sixth-rank attendant.
News of this incident spread throughout the capital, and the alleys in front of and behind the Lan mansion were crowded with people who came to watch the commotion.
Jun Shao should have been embarrassed and angry.
But someone stepped in to protect her dignity.
The figure was in a miserable state, yet still possessed an undeniable elegance and handsomeness.
The young lord struggled to climb the wall of the Lan mansion and shouted to her, “If he won’t marry you, I will!”
So, Jun Shao took advantage of the situation and married the person.
She thought the young lord did it to save the Lan family from the crime of defying the imperial decree, but never imagined that from beginning to end, what he coveted was her.
*
After the wedding, Jun Shao felt like she was living in a dream.
Her Wife-master was as beautiful as a fairy in a painting, skilled in the six arts, well-versed in poetry and literature, capable of being gentle and attentive, and also grand and dignified. Most importantly, she was the only one in his heart and eyes.
Jun Shao didn’t know how Lan Shiwu, as a illegitimate son without a father and blessed with beauty, had managed to preserve his purity, recklessly escape, and use his last ounce of strength to ruin his own reputation, all because of his love for her, just to stand before her.
She could only see him gazing at her with eyes full of love, and when she bestowed a name upon him, his eyes shone like stars.
“You have come to me like a weary bird perching on a branch. I shall call you A Qi.”

When’s Rodric coming back? I miss him just making everyone submit to his Intensity. Even though he’s a crap brother. 😑
Yay! Rodric is there to save the day! Hopefully things will end quickly.
So I guess Ophelia will end up with Bern? I originally shipped them and then didn’t because Bern is too devoted to Diana. I still think he’s too devoted to Diana… but as long as he’s good to Ophelia, and puts her first, I can let it slide…
