The man walking steadily toward Eun Seo, dressed in a black suit with a dark gray overcoat, was none other than Kwon Tae Ha—whom they’d only ever seen in the media.

Struck by the illusion as though gazing upon the sun suspended high in an ink-black night sky, the group couldn’t tear their eyes away from him.

“I’m here, Eun Seo.”

Caught off guard by his unexpected arrival, Eun Seo remained speechless—so Tae Ha simply took a seat right beside her and extended his hand toward the café owner, the eldest among the group.

“Hello, I’m Eun Seo’s husband, Kwon Tae Ha.”

Flustered by the crisp introduction, the owner coughed awkwardly, quickly rubbing his palm against his slacks before shaking Tae Ha’s hand.

“N-nice to meet you. I’m Seo Hee Jun.”

His torso, already bent at more than a 45-degree angle, remained lowered for quite some time even after he’d uttered, “Pleased to meet you.”
