The day was unusually sunny. Unlike the bright weather, Seo Ha wasn’t in a particularly good mood.

“Whew.”

She let out a sigh without even realizing it. The massive art museum building in front of her seemed to be mocking her.

It felt as though it were asking, “Do you really belong here?”

But she straightened her back proudly and walked in.

The place Jung Yeon had mentioned was the meeting room on the museum’s third floor. The first and second floors were used for exhibition halls and a souvenir shop, while the third floor housed offices and a lounge area for visitors.

Posters advertising a famous artist’s exhibition were plastered all over the museum entrance. More people than she’d expected were coming and going, enjoying the exhibition.

Seo Ha took the elevator straight up to the third floor.

She knocked on the door of the director’s office, and Jung Yeon’s voice came from inside.

“Come in.”

When she opened the door, Jung Yeon was seated elegantly, wearing a dress made of fine fabric, eyes fixed on her computer screen.

She glanced briefly at Seo Ha, then returned her gaze to the monitor.

“Hello?”

“You’re here. Sit over there for a bit. I’m swamped with work. Guests should be arriving soon—we’ll move together then.”

“Yes. What kind of gathering is it today?”
