The morning sunlight was radiant and warm enough to completely wash away Yoo Na’s miserable feelings from the previous night.

Yoo Na had enjoyed the night with Do Yeop. He was the kind of man who warmly embraced her loneliness yet still respected proper boundaries.

For the first time, Yoo Na felt truly respected by a man.

Do Yeop’s gentle hand lightly stroking her cheek and his large hand softly patting her back were both tender.

His eyes, fixed solely on her, filled the emptiness in her heart.

Though she opened her eyes to the morning sun streaming through the curtains, she didn’t want to get up and squirmed lazily under the covers. Do Yeop wrapped his arms around her like that.

Yoo Na picked up Do Yeop’s phone and took a selfie, pretending to be asleep with her eyes closed—as if Do Yeop himself had taken the photo.

She then sent the picture to her own phone and smiled contentedly as she looked at it.

Setting aside her reluctance, she gave Do Yeop a light kiss on the cheek.
