Tae Kyung tilted his head in confusion.

Two days ago, his phone had notified him that a registered mail item had been delivered, yet the mail was nowhere to be seen—neither on his desk nor anywhere else.

“Yoon Joo, did a registered letter come for me by any chance?”

“A letter?”

The female employee pulled the mail out from her drawer—the one Yoo Na had brought by yesterday—and recalled Yoo Na’s request as she looked at the dining voucher beneath it, issued by a famous French restaurant that had earned two Michelin stars.

“Yoon Joo, I accidentally took Tae Kyung’s mail. I came to return it. Please, don’t tell anyone I took it—promise me. This is a dining voucher for a French restaurant run by a friend of mine. If you ever need more vouchers, just let me know—as long as you agree to my request.”

Yoo Na had winked playfully at the female employee.

The employee handed Tae Kyung the sealed envelope.

“I’m sorry—I meant to give it to you right away but completely forgot.”

Tae Kyung checked the sender’s name on the envelope and walked silently into the CEO’s office.

He carefully opened the document envelope with trembling hands.

His heart pounded so violently it felt ready to burst out of his chest.

After taking a deep breath, he slowly lifted the paper and read its contents.
