Hyeon-young’s eyes widened.
Innocent Seo-ha being labeled as a bad person and young Min-jun facing rejection among the children.
She didn’t expect parents to keep their distance from Min-jun.
It’s all her fault. It’s her own fault for not stopping the news from spreading earlier to prevent defamation.
But she couldn’t forgive the adults who made such remarks.
Teaching children not to play with him and segregating others! Encouraging exclusion by parents is not just wrong, it’s severely wrong.
And that child, who until now denied, had no choice but to acknowledge that he was her one and only grandson.
The more she saw the child, the more she was drawn to the fact that he was her own blood.
Hyeon-young clenched her teeth firmly, filled with frustration.
“How dare that audacious little brat! Secretary Kwon, step forward. I can’t just let that kid mess with my grandson.”

“Ch-chairman!”
“What are you doing!”
“Yes!”
Secretary Kwon was rare to see in such an angry state, so he was startled.
He guided Hyeon-young to the kindergarten. Her sudden visit caused a commotion at the kindergarten.
The director literally rushed out.
“Oh! Chairman! What brings you here?”
“Well. Hello? I’m Park Hyeon-young. Are you the director of Prime Kindergarten? We need to talk for a moment.”
While greeting, Hyeon-young couldn’t help but keep glancing at Min-jun, who was in trouble.
Though angry and hurt, his chubby face was cute and adorable.

‘To say such harsh words to that lovely child. No matter how young he is, I can’t just let it slide. This is something that should not be overlooked, even for that girl.’
Hyeon-young turned to Secretary Kwon with a stern expression. However, her words were unexpected compared to her expression.
“Hey, Secretary Kwon. Take a picture of Min-jun’s expression without him noticing. Isn’t he adorable?”
“What? Uh, yes.”
Secretary Kwon was bewildered. Hyeon-young, as if saying nothing, walked gracefully into the director’s office.
“Please have a seat. Thank you for the development fund you donated to our kindergarten. I should have visited you first to express my gratitude, but I apologize.”
“I didn’t come here to hear such thanks.”
Hyeon-young sat at the table with an emotionless face.
On the other hand, the director was fidgeting, visibly tense. She looked like prey about to be caught in a predator’s gaze, full of fear.
An employee brought two cups of tea to the director’s office. Although the director suggested tea to Hyeon-young, she didn’t touch it.

“If it doesn’t suit your taste…”
“The stories the children were talking about were audible even beyond the wall. Words that should never come out of a child’s mouth.”
“What?”
“They casually said that their mom ran away here because their mom is a bad person. They even went as far as segregating the child.”
“…”
“If I had known there were parents of such low quality in this kindergarten, I wouldn’t have sent our Min-jun here.”
Hyeon-young casually spoke as if it were her own decision, even though she wasn’t the one who enrolled him. The director was lost in thought.
The basic environment survey clearly had the father’s personal information section left blank. Initially, he was an unenthusiastic child admitted at the request of the foundation’s chairman.
However, with the T&K coding program, which had been impossible to approve so far, being approved alongside Min-jun’s admission, and not to mention Hyeon-young, the chairman of the HY Group, enveloping Min-jun, it seemed he wasn’t just a hidden child of the HY Group.
Such connections could not be overlooked. The development fund secretly donated by Hyeon-young to the kindergarten was an amount equivalent to the kindergarten’s budget for a year.
“It seems you have misunderstood something. We consider the home nurturing environment when selecting children for our kindergarten. There are no parents of such low quality here. They are all cultured and socially well-positioned individuals.”

“You can’t judge everything by appearances. When you look at a child, you can see the parents. Have that girl who made the rude remarks apologize directly to Min-jun.”
“What? Please wait a moment, and I’ll check.”
The director hurriedly left the office. Shortly afterward, Min-jun and a girl entered the office with the director.
Min-jun’s clothes were wrinkled, and the girl’s hair was all messy and disheveled.
Both Min-jun and the girl had awkward expressions. Unjustness was evident in Min-jun’s eyes.
Hyeon-young was struck by that look.
There was a similar incident in Tae-kyung’s childhood. It happened when he fought with a child who teased him about his father’s infidelity.
At that time, Hyeon-young urged Tae-kyung to apologize for hitting the other child. She couldn’t understand Tae-kyung’s feelings.
Tae-kyung had the same look as Min-jun now.
She regretted that incident so much. She couldn’t let it happen to Min-jun.

She resolved to resolve that injustice. She didn’t want children to be hurt by their parents again.
Hyeon-young clenched her lips tightly.
When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
Here’s the story synopsis:
