Taekyung immediately went to his company upon returning to Seoul.
There, he personally created a program proposal.
He was determined to get into Onnuri Kindergarten and so tailored the proposal specifically for them, paying extra attention to detail.
After finishing the proposal, he let out a long sigh.
Closing his eyes, the image of Seoha holding a child and smiling surfaced in his mind.
And the man who followed her. Shaking his head vigorously to dispel the disturbing thought, he sent an email and text message with the proposal file to Kyuwon and then turned off his computer.
He felt he wouldn’t easily fall asleep if he went home now.
So, he naturally headed to a bar he frequented.
“Here? The usual drink?”
“Yeah, thanks.”

Taekyung sat down at the bar without a greeting. The bar owner, Jung-hu, Taekyung’s long-time friend, handed him his reserved bottle of amber whiskey.
He poured the whiskey straight into a glass without hesitation and gulped it down.
Sleepless nights were common, but it had become torturously difficult since meeting Seoha again.
Perhaps getting drunk would help him sleep.
After several drinks, his face reddened from the alcohol.
Even in sleep, he wasn’t really resting.
The nightmare of seeing Seoha holding a child tormented him, making it even harder to find peace.
“How could she forget me and marry someone else?”
Taekyung couldn’t believe it.
He wanted to believe that like him, Seoha had no choice but to disappear, still holding feelings for him. But she had completely let go of him and her hopes.

Jung-hu clicked his tongue, placing ice water and fruit in front of Taekyung.
“Did you hear Seoha got married?”
“There was a child too. Quite grown.”
“You met Seoha? And the child? Is it yours?”
Throwing the question casually, Taekyung answered seriously. Jung-hu’s eyes widened in surprise and he quickly sat next to Taekyung.
Taekyung, heavily intoxicated, rested his forehead on the table and heaved rough breaths.
“Hey! Taekyung! Have you found Seoha? Come on, talk to me.”
“How could Kim Seoha do this to me?”
“Ah, you’re really not okay, are you? I know you need a drink, but go ahead. I know all about what you’ve been through.”
Jung-hu had witnessed their relationship from the start, serving as a witness to their love story.

Unable to take sides but knowing Taekyung’s struggles, he couldn’t lecture him.
Probably the most tormented person right now was Taekyung.
“This guy, I’m not sure he can make it home like this.”
“I can make it. Don’t worry. Just call me a taxi.”
Without lifting his head, Taekyung spoke.
Jung-hu sighed deeply and called a cab.
Soon after the taxi arrived, Taekyung staggered to his feet, supported by Jung-hu.
“Driver, to Hannam-dong, please. Take care of him.”
Jung-hu looked on with concern, asking the driver to ensure Taekyung’s safe arrival.
Taekyung, sitting in the backseat, eyes closed, remained silent.

As the taxi began to move, Taekyung spoke in a low voice.
“Driver, not to Hannam-dong. Take me to Yangpyeong.”
Splitting the dawn darkness, Taekyung arrived at Onnuri Kindergarten where Seoha worked.
After meeting Seoha, his tense nerves had loosened with alcohol, and he fell asleep in the taxi.
He grimaced and moaned as if having a nightmare.
“Sir, we’ve arrived.”
The driver woke Taekyung up. Taekyung slowly opened his eyes, struggling to focus.
“Are you okay, sir? But this place is closed right now.”
“Ah… where is this?”
“This is Onnuri Kindergarten. Isn’t this where you asked to go?”
“Onnuri Kindergarten?”

Taekyung quickly sat up. Still dizzy from the alcohol, he recognized the somewhat familiar yet painfully desired scenery.
“Is this the place you mentioned? Please try to gather yourself.”
“Thank you for your efforts.”
Taekyung, with unfocused eyes, randomly pulled out bills from his wallet and handed them to the driver.
He staggered out of the taxi and walked towards the kindergarten.
The driver, concerned but having received the fare, drove off.
Taekyung leaned against the closed kindergarten’s fence and sat on the ground, uncaring about his suit getting dirty.
The person he so desperately wanted yet dreaded to see again.
After meeting Seoha again, all he knew was that she worked at Onnuri Kindergarten.
Despite feeling wronged and hating her, he was also glad to have discovered even this minor detail about her.

Initially, he was worried when she disappeared. What if something had happened to her? He wished he knew her parents’ house but didn’t even know that.
All he knew was her empty apartment and the face of her shameless mother who occasionally came to extort money.
As time passed, the resentment towards Seoha, who vanished without a word, grew. Was he only worth that much to Seoha? His concern turned into resentment and hatred.
Now, he even doubted whether he ever truly loved her.
But one thing was clear: the boiling emotions inside him were hard to control whenever he thought of Seoha with Minseop.
He wanted to drag Seoha away and keep her where only he knew.
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.
The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
