“What made you get up so early in the morning? And why were you suddenly in the study?”

Jung Su Ho chuckled as he grabbed Na Ri’s wrist and headed straight down the hallway.

Na Ri looked around.

It was identical to the house she used to live in.

Not the current house, which she and Kang I Hyeon had recreated with nearly perfect accuracy.

Initially, during the process of replacing all the furniture, Na Ri had aimed to replicate her old home exactly.

But since some pieces were no longer sold, she’d had to substitute them with different items. Yet here, the original furniture sat exactly as it had before.

“Oh, it’s nothing.”

After all, there was only one possible situation.

This was that basement! She had no idea what her mother was doing down in the basement.

But it was certainly clear that this place was either a strange space or linked to some kind of illusion.

And judging from Na Ri’s subconscious, the only way to escape spaces like this was usually to clear the current scenario.

Na Ri clenched both fists tightly.

Within this space, both Jung Su Ho and herself appeared perfectly fine—just like ordinary high school students living in their original house.

That would mean her mother hadn’t died at the Donghae Gate.
