Thud! Kang Ha Na, having spotted Na Ri, swiftly bound the pirate monster with jade-colored threads and hurried over.

Na Ri stood rooted to the spot, staring at her mother.

She couldn’t tell if this was reality or merely a hallucination. Nothing made sense anymore.

Her hair and skin looked much rougher, and instead of her usual vibrant expression, her face was covered in scabs.

The mother Na Ri remembered always smiled—but this one’s face was filled with exhaustion.

Seeing this, Na Ri finally realized this wasn’t an illusion, but reality.

“M-Mom? Are you really my mom?”

“Na Ri, you…”

The two stood silently in place, as if both had suddenly understood something.
