A small house in Busan. Creak—orange handcuffs clamped tightly around one of the man’s wrists.

At the sound of snapping bones, the man screamed again. Kang Ha Na frowned.

“Is it really wrong to just want to live a decent life?! Huh?! Life’s already hard enough as it is!! What exactly did I do so terribly wrong?!”

“Yes, it is wrong. Everyone struggles to get by. Do you really think you’re the main character of this world?”

Crack—each time Chris paused for breath, he tightened his grip on the handcuffed wrist. The man’s wrist twisted sideways, prompting another scream. Seizing the moment, Chris gave Kang Ha Na a quick nod.

Seeing her hesitate slightly, he furrowed his brows and urged, “Senior, hurry!”

Kang Ha Na sighed, then plunged a ceremonial dagger into the man’s shoulder. Ignoring his cries, she thrust her hand deep into the wound and rummaged inside.

“…I’m sorry! This will hurt a lot! I’ll finish quickly!”
