Thursday afternoon.

Lee Su, stepping out after class, looked out the window and was startled.

Though there had been no forecast of rain that morning, a sudden downpour had started.

‘How strange. I’m sure it was just supposed to be cloudy.’

“Lee Su, do you have an umbrella?”

“Huh? No, I didn’t bring one.”

It wasn’t just a light drizzle she could walk through—it was pouring—so she could only stand helplessly staring out the window.

“Oh! Lee Su, did you return Ji Ho’s umbrella that was in your locker?”

“Huh? Oh! No…”

Now that she thought about it, the umbrella was still sitting right there in her locker.

Though it had rained several times since the semester-opening party, once she’d gotten caught in the rain and called Ji Ho out that night, and on other days she’d either been at home or with Ji Ho when it rained, so she still hadn’t returned it.

Honestly, she’d just forgotten about it.

Ji Ho hadn’t asked for it back either, since he no longer needed to use the umbrella as an excuse to see Lee Su, and Lee Su herself had simply forgotten.

“Hey, let’s use that one.”

She took Ji Ho’s umbrella from her locker and walked Ae Ra to the convenience store in the student union building.
