Regret With All Your Might (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 41
The long procession began with the carriage carrying Olivia and Edwin as it exited the main gate of Bicander Grand Ducal Mansion.
It had been a while since the people waving goodbye in front of the mansion disappeared from view, yet Olivia kept gazing out the window with a face full of regret.
Only after passing the tall, sturdy walls and entering the street did Olivia finally let out a heavy sigh.
It seemed she had grown quite attached to this grand ducal residence in just a few short weeks.
If only I’d known, I would’ve suggested staying a little longer before leaving.
At this belated sentiment, Olivia’s shoulders slumped.
Wednesday. Olivia herself had chosen this very day to depart for Bicander territory, to draw a new beginning atop memories she had always awaited.

Edwin, seated right across from her, spoke gently. Hidden beneath his kind tone was a hint of playfulness, and Olivia gave a soft chuckle, shaking her head.
“I’m not crying. If anyone heard that, they’d think I’m such a crybaby.”
“You may not be a crybaby, but you do cry easily. Or at least you used to lately?”
“Well, actually, I’m not usually the crying type. So Edwin, you really saw something very, very rare.”
“That’s quite fortunate, then.”
Edwin smiled contentedly like a well-fed cat. Just as Olivia thought his loosely curved lips looked rather mischievous—
“So. My affectionate young lady, who doesn’t cry much, must have left farewell cards for everyone except me?”
