Diane turned around, each of her arms hooked with Michael and Dayban. Though her movements were unusually stiff today, the twins didn’t suspect anything, seeing how unusually happy their sister seemed.

They didn’t know there was a man crouched flat on the ground behind the tree where Diane had stood, concealing his presence.

‘What a shame.’

Elijah briefly recalled the earlier moment.

‘It’s a pity to part like this…’
