“Ugh!”

Dayban’s head whipped around. With a brief scoff, he turned his face back forward.

“You trying something?”

For a moment, a glint appeared in Dayban’s eyes, the corners of his mouth curling maliciously.

Despite what seemed like a heavy blow, he had no injuries. Dayban hurled his body and knocked Mikael over.

The two were entangled on the ground in an instant.

“Who hits someone in the face, you brat!”

“You’re the one who can’t understand human speech, you beastly runt!”

“What did you say, you loudmouth!”

“You’re just a brawny idiot!”

Watching them, I stood with my mouth wide open.

‘Why are they suddenly fighting?’

I hurried over to them.

“Stop fighting, both of you!”

“You’re just a thief stealing other people’s clothes!”

“Don’t you even understand words!”

It seemed they weren’t listening to me at all. I felt helpless and quickly grabbed my bag, heading back to the mansion.

‘I have to call someone!’

Suddenly I hesitated, stopping in my tracks. They were twins fighting, so who should I call?

‘Dad and Brother are both gone!’

Today, the Duke and Clements were out on a territorial inspection since early morning.

Who else could possibly control the twins?

‘Probably knights are better than the servants.’

Some of the knights do use magic after all.

Just as I turned towards the training ground instead of the mansion, I saw a group of maids leisurely walking out of the mansion holding small flower pots. Delma was among them.

“Ah, Delma!”

“Miss! Are you playing in the garden again today?”

“No, it’s not that!”

I quickly moved towards them and said,

“The twins are…!”

That’s when it happened. I had barely taken a few steps when a loud noise filled my ears.

The maids screamed. Including me, we all lost our balance and fell to the ground. Delma started running towards me.

Covering my ears and crouching, I slowly looked behind me.

The one who made the groundshaking impact was Dayban. He had punched the ground while atop Mikael.

A powerful aura was rippling around his fist.

Mikael grabbed Dayban’s collar with one hand.

“Why are you using magic here? Are you crazy?”

“Shut up!”

Before Mikael could even finish speaking, he was thrown back. Another loud noise filled my ears.

I lifted my head slowly, seeing dust flying all around.

A tree had fallen right in front of me.

That tree had been the source of the noise. It was one of the larger trees in the garden. I used to play under its widespread shade every day.

That such a sturdy tree could fall so easily…

“Miss!”

Delma’s voice reached me then.

Blocked by the fallen tree, Delma looked helpless from afar.

“I’m okay!”

After calming her from a distance, I looked back at the twins.

This level of noise was unprecedented, as was the groundshaking impact.

Maybe I was too shocked, but I had no clue how to stop them.

‘This is the power the twins have.’

It was so strong even with a small amount of use, and to think it was limitless.

Mikael, who had been thrown on top of the tree, chuckled as he dusted off his pants and stood up.

Both of them seemed so blinded by rage, they couldn’t see anything else.
I shuffled my feet, unable to approach the two dangerous figures. From a distance, I shouted.

“Both of you, stop!”

Knights from the training ground, too, sprinted toward us from a distance.
