Baek Ho was an absolutely wonderful mount. If compared to a car, he’d be fit for an emperor!

‘Warm, fluffy, soft, and cozy.’

Where on earth did such a magnificent vehicle come from? I rubbed my cheek against Baek Ho’s back.

“Master Baek Ho, you’re the best!”

Don’t do that—it tickles.

Afraid that I might tickle him and cause him to leap about wildly and drop me, I quickly shut my mouth. But with my cheek still pressed against his fur, my face broke into another wide grin.

“Master Baek Ho, you’re really the best.”

I never knew I was so sensitive to textures!

‘Little Baek Ho is the best, and big Baek Ho is the best too.’

Anyway, I clung flat against Baek Ho’s fur, completely enchanted. Thus, I never slipped off his back or tumbled down rolling.

But not every part of our journey was so smooth.

A small droplet tapped against my bangs. At first, I thought it might be my imagination, but the taps kept coming more frequently. I pointed at the sky with my palm and cried out,

“Eek! It’s raining!”

This was the first rain we’d encountered while racing through the heart of the forest. Baek Ho clicked his tongue.
