Why did I try to write a novel?
Upon reflection, it wasn’t to show it to anyone, but rather, the act itself seemed fun.
When I would name a nonexistent story and set up the plot, the story would roll along miraculously by itself.
“But I didn’t want this.”
Even villains must have their reasons, but I didn’t want to give them such a sorrowful past.
“If I can turn back time, I want to.”
With those thoughts, I suddenly opened my eyes.
The sun was shining brightly, and sparrows were chirping.
But something was different.
“Where am I?”

Waking up to an unfamiliar ceiling wasn’t a firsttime experience, but it felt disgusting no matter how many times it happened.
“What’s this?”
It was when I had pushed aside the heavy blanket that had carefully covered me up to my neck and pulled my arm out from under it.
A clear voice asked me in a sullen tone,
“Fool, are you awake?”
“Uh……?”
I blinked in confusion. A boy with loosely tied black hair and dark eyes was staring at me.
Who is this?
‘Danmokbi.’
My novel’s villain.

Looking at him, memories returned one by one. I pressed my throbbing forehead with my finger and asked,
“My lord?”
“Yes.”
Confirmation came back.
‘So that wasn’t all a dream.’
The fact that Danmokbi was used as a sacrificial vessel to give the power of a divine beast to Danmokchang, that just yesterday I had saved him as he vomited black blood, was real.
The image of Danmokbi’s body, as cold as ice, came to mind. I grasped Danmokbi’s hand warmly and asked,
“Are you okay now? Do you hurt anywhere? Feel dizzy?”
“I wonder.”
Danmokbi shrugged.

“If you’re okay, then I’m okay.”
“What’s this relative theory…… Ugh. Heavy.”
I tried to get up to check Danmokbi’s condition but something heavy was sitting on my stomach, so I couldn’t.
Slowly pushing it off with the blanket, I finally sat up and rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand.
“What’s this?”
On the blanket, there was something that looked like a huge white furball. At my words, the furball growled, showing its teeth.
How disrespectful to the holy divine beast!
Though it growled with a voice that seemed to want to intimidate, its appearance was unmistakably,
“A cat?”
Not a cat!

With pointed triangular ears, soft and fluffy fur, and a snout with whiskers sticking out, it looked strongwilled.
But it looked like a cat no matter how you looked at it?
I reached out to the furball as if mesmerized and stroked its velvety chin and soft ears.
Staring at the purring furball, Danmokbi answered,
“That’s the divine beast Baekho.”
“Baekho?”
At Danmokbi’s introduction, the furball proudly spoke as it sat up,
Indeed. I am Baekho, the divine beast you people have so longed for…… Hey, stop pressing my paw! It tickles!
“Oh, I’m sorry. When I saw the pink jelly, I reflexively…”
But who could resist those chubby paws!

Though I apologized while continuing to fiddle with Baekho’s front paw, Baekho snorted as if it found me ridiculous.
You’re a really strange human.
Oh, I’m the epitome of normal.
‘I never thought I’d hear that from a divine beast, a creature of imagination.’
I made a sheepish face.
The divine beast, though a cat no matter how you looked at it, licked its front paw and spoke to me,
Anyway, human, thanks to you I’ve escaped a crisis, and I wish to repay my debt.
Debt? I feel like I didn’t do anything.
I replied, stroking Baekho’s ear,
“I’m not a human, I’m Yeona. Yeona.”
Eh, being human is enough; why should I even decide what to call you?

“He seems quite reluctant to repay a favor.”
If you’ve decided to repay a favor, you should at least show respect to the person you’re repaying, and call them by their name affectionately, shouldn’t you?
As I pouted my lips, Baekho glanced at me with his pale blue eyes narrowed.
I hate humans. You might change your mind and want to order me around like a servant. So I won’t call humans by their name.
He looked like a cute ball of fluff, but his words were surprisingly sharp. I obediently nodded my head.
“That’s true.”
When I agreed, Baekho looked at me with a trembling expression, very watchful.
…Why don’t you deny it?
“What for? It’s true that humans are bad.”
Historically, it’s been proven several times that the problem isn’t the system or the environment, but people themselves.

‘It’s better for Baekho to continue being cautious.’
I was lucky to meet the original creator this time, but how can I be sure that there will be someone to help next time?
As I calmly nodded, Baekho spoke again, seemingly uneasy, his claws raised.
You could at least say you’re different, that I can trust you.
“Don’t trust me; it’s annoying.”
Why does this cat keep insisting when I tell him not to trust me? I snorted, and Danmokbi, who had been quietly listening to our conversation, suddenly grabbed my hand tightly.
“……?”
Why does he look so happy all of a sudden?
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.
The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
