There wasn’t the slightest trace of suspicion on Jung Woong’s face as he looked at himself.

Seeing this, Kyeong Hee furrowed her brow slightly before asking,

“Out of nowhere, after staying silent all this time, you suddenly decide to hand Jae Oh the position of acting chairman. Doesn’t that strike you as strange?”

Jung Woong, who had been too busy calming the outrage sparked by Ji Pil’s decision and Jae Oh’s attitude to even consider what Kyeong Hee was saying, answered dismissively,

“Father never consults me anyway. And from what I can tell, he’s probably doing this because of the TK Tower issue.”

At Kyeong Hee’s words, Jung Woong—who had tensed slightly—suddenly relaxed.

Letting out a soft breath, he spoke with firm conviction,

“He’s not the kind of person to bring up the chairman’s seat over something so trivial.”

“To Father, it might be trivial—but to Jae Oh, it’s not.”

The moment Jae Oh’s name was mentioned, tension returned to Jung Woong’s previously relaxed eyes.
