Jae Oh had anticipated it the moment he saw Chae Yoon enter the meeting spot without even glancing his way.

He expected Chae Yoon wouldn’t contact him even after the drinking session ended.

The reason he thought this way was because of the words Chae Yoon kept casually dropping.

[“You’re busy, oppa.”]

While he immersed himself in work, Chae Yoon had grown accustomed to being alone.

That perception, solidified over a full three years, was impossible to shake off quickly—so Jae Oh figured that even if Chae Yoon did reach out, it’d only be right after she got home.
