Seeing where Chae Yoon’s gaze was fixed, Jae Oh’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Noticing his subtle reaction, Chae Yoon spoke.

“Why that expression? Is this another thing I’m not supposed to see?”

At the faintly sarcastic tone, one of his thick eyebrows lifted imperceptibly. Jae Oh lowered his eyes and studied Chae Yoon’s face.

She’d said something similar just a while ago—and now she was doing it again.

Having a rough idea of why Chae Yoon was acting this way, Jae Oh picked up his phone and held it out to her.

Chae Yoon only looked at the phone in Jae Oh’s hand but didn’t take it.

“Aren’t you going to look?”

Without a word, Chae Yoon shifted her gaze away from the phone and walked past Jae Oh.

Her back, turned coldly toward him, seemed to carry a gust of icy wind. Sensing something deeply amiss, Jae Oh felt a sudden chill in his chest and, brows furrowing faintly, moved closer to Chae Yoon.

Chae Yoon knew Jae Oh had sat beside her but refused to look at him. Naturally attuned to her mood, Jae Oh asked carefully,

“Are you mad?”

“…….”

“You won’t even look at me, so I guess you’re really upset.”

Chae Yoon remained unmoved.
