Thankfully, the brief commotion soon subsided, and Ludmila, still blushing, explained the situation—leading them straight to the sawmill.

“Please show me the timber stacked beneath here.”

Ludmila’s manner, confidently giving orders to the manager—who’d been preparing to drink since early morning—looked utterly natural.

Perhaps it was because, as an imperial noble, she was accustomed to commanding people.
