I stood still, feeling Freyrie’s surprised gaze on me, and exerted all the strength I had left in my hand gripping the milk bottle’s cap.

The milk bottle’s lid came off instantly, and I handed it to the maid standing nearby.
“Drink.”
Goodness, I hadn’t even imagined I’d be so weak I couldn’t open a milk bottle cap by myself.
Seeing it up close as I removed the cap, I noticed all the milk bottles looked identical—but watching her helplessly fail to open it right beside me was so frustrating I just opened it myself in a huff.
“Th-thank you.”
Meanwhile, Freyrie seemed flustered, clearly not expecting this from me, but she didn’t look upset at all. With a gentle smile, she accepted the bottle and slowly drank it all clean. The milk produced in Penturas apparently suited her taste perfectly.
“The milk is pleasantly rich yet surprisingly light.”
Handing the empty bottle back to the maid, Freyrie gave her impression with a warm, crinkling smile.
“Right? It tasted slightly different from the usual milk. And it gave just the right feeling of fullness.”
I glanced down at my still-flat stomach, then lifted my head to look ahead.
‘Hm?’
Just then, I spotted Carlisle walking toward me from the opposite direction. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sasha, Ronowe, and Beris still chattering away—probably still feeding the fish—so I wondered why Carlisle alone was coming this way.
“Your Highness, you’ve got milk on the corner of your mouth.”
