Today, since early morning, I left the Fleur estate and visited the Ariel Temple in Randel Kingdom with Her Highness the Crown Princess.

It was quite a long journey, so I barely ate and, exhausted, went straight to wash up and try to sleep—but as always when night falls, defying the rule that all things which breathe by day must close their eyes at night, I kept tossing and turning.

And no wonder—because at the temple, I happened to see priests loading a stone statue onto a cart, and at that moment, it felt as though an invisible glass barrier within me shattered, flooding my mind with countless memories and information.

“Because I always believed that whatever You did was right.”

Only emptiness now made my feelings all the clearer.

So utterly desolate was I that it felt as though a balloon studded with sharp thorns swelled inside my body, piercing my entire being with its jagged tips.
