I turned my head away from Lilis and left the meeting room.

“Is there anything scheduled next?”

I asked, plodding along the shiny hallway with the maid.

Though I was a young royal, once I could walk and talk, there was usually at least a simple schedule arranged for the day.

“Shall I say that you’ll take your liberal arts classes early?”

Matching my pace, the maid, who was walking slowly, answered cautiously the moment she set foot on the redcarpeted stairs.

“Yeah. Let’s stop by the room first.”

Quickly responding with the thought that it was better than rolling around in bed, I adjusted my posture holding Pobby.

Soon after, birds sang outside the leisurely reached bedroom. I carelessly watched the birds circling the vividly bloomed pink flowers outside the window, then turned my head.

“You look so wellsuited!”

The maid finished touching up my hair and praised me just as I turned back to look in the mirror.

“I’ve prepared comfortable clothes for you, Your Highness, in case they might be uncomfortable during lessons.”

The maids, who placed their hands together at their chests, were beside themselves with joy. From their flushed cheeks, it seemed they were perfectly satisfied with the new outfit and jewelry.

“You’ll be learning only two subjects in liberal arts today, history and military.”

Just when I was about to ignore the familiar praise, a maid who was standing a bit further back informed me of the afternoon schedule.

‘History and military are too easy.’

I snorted the moment I heard the subject names, expecting my lessons to be different since I was a princess.

Just before leaving the bedroom, my last glance in the mirror caught Pobby.

The creature played well by itself when I didn’t entertain it, but I couldn’t neglect it since Jeff had provided it for protection.

I quietly tracked Pobby’s movement with my eyes, then called it.

Innocent Pobby turned its head towards my call, its face curious.

“Is it okay if I take Pobby?”

I asked the maid, pointing at Pobby with my finger.

The maids immediately responded, their answers shining with affirmation.

“Everything in this imperial city moves according to Your Highness’s will.”

The maids, politely bringing their hands together, slightly bowed their heads as they spoke.

“You can do whatever you want, Your Highness.”

That’s a given. I swallowed my next words and spoke to Pobby.

“Pobby, you. Never shoot lasers there.”

“Quack!”

Pobby, sounding like it understood, let out a robust cry, raising its short arms and jumping with joy.

“I greet Your Highness, the princess.”

A little later, lost in thought as I arrived early in the classroom, someone approached and spoke to me.

“I am Ellaila Run Varsha, entrusted with Your Highness’s academic and political education.”

I was taken aback.

Because the noblewoman with gray hair, advanced in age, who just introduced herself, was my aide in my previous life.
