“He seems to have gone mad.”

I imagined a dizzying scenario in my head.

Knights, maids, and even Jeff and Hecate all caught me, blushing with embarrassment and shame. Unable to do this or that, the worst-case scenario unfolded vividly, where I would later be brought to Jeff’s office with Lillis and scolded.

It was terrible.

When I set my foot on the grass field, it felt softer than before. Glancing at my feet, I found that I was wearing shoes usually worn in the bedroom.

‘I didn’t even realize it fell off when I was on Lillis’s back.’

I don’t know what happened. It wasn’t like I had some sticky liquid on the soles of my feet, causing the indoor shoes and flesh to stick together. But for some reason, Lillis’s sturdy legs, running at a fast speed through the rugged paths in the forest, seemed as remarkable as my own.

“You go back first.”

I commanded Lillis, placing my hand on her side. Meanwhile, I glanced around with a wary eye while coming down from Lillis’s back to see if anyone came close while I was descending.

‘She seems to be constantly circling around, but hasn’t come deep into the atrium yet.’

Thank goodness. After breathing a sigh of relief, I gestured for Lillis to come closer and whispered.

“It’s better to move slowly over time.”

“Yes, then I’ll see you tomorrow morning.”

“Sure.”

Afterward, I brushed off the dust on my unicorn pajamas and raised both hands toward Poppie, who was still clinging to the horn on the hood of my unicorn pajamas.

Because of the vibrations caused by Poppie, who was balancing precariously on my head while trembling, my head vibrated too.

Most of all, it was not pleasant that the tip of my hooded unicorn pajamas was moist, probably because Poppie, with its small mouth, tightly bit onto the horn of the pajamas. If I didn’t take it off quickly, the new pajamas would likely be ruined by Poppie’s saliva.

“You, too, come down now.”

At first, it was awkward for Poppie to suddenly bite the horn again, but when I asked if it was going to be like that forever, Poppie, who came to her senses, opened her mouth wide, and I held her chubby body with both hands and put her down on the floor.

“Squawk…”

Poppie seemed so relieved to have returned safely that she put a short arm over her chest and sighed. Although the sight was amusing, it wasn’t a time to relax.

‘I should sit down for a moment.’

Thanks to Lillis, I went comfortably to where ‘Tears of the Star’ was and returned to the palace, so I wasn’t too tired.
However, due to the fatigue accumulated from talking with Sasha, rolling my head, and using my nerves excessively, I decided to sit down on a chair and relax before my feeble body could collapse on its own.

Staying still here with Poppie, I thought that either a knight or a maid would eventually discover me. Honestly, as a princess, I had no reason to wander around searching for them.

“Oh, Your Highness.”

“Why?”

I thought she would quietly leave, but Lillis, who was still lingering around, had something to say, as her lips were twitching before leaving. It seemed quite clear that she had yet to fully accept my command, and before leaving, she had something to say, making her lips itchy.

“Considering what I found out today, you seem remarkably calm.”

Was that really something so strange and curious?
