On the other hand, as Praylee and Ronowe wandered around with Beris, holding Poppie’s hand and spinning around, Beris, who had been standing still, suddenly claimed that her legs and stomach hurt and that she was hungry.

“If there’s any milk left, give some to them too.”

“Yes, Your Highness.”

Since it was obvious that the milk bottles had been prepared according to the number of people, I promptly ordered Miranda, who was nearby, to prepare milk for the children. Soon, on the round table, snacks and milk bottles appeared, and a sweet fragrance filled the air.

‘These look like the coconut-shaped cookies I used to enjoy.’

Neatly arranged on a large plate in the center of the table, the familiar cookies were different this time, with white whipped cream instead of chocolate cream, making my mouth water even more.

Crack.

“Oops!”
Afterward, quietly opening and consuming the milk bottles, Beris accidentally let the bottle slip, turning it upside down, causing the milk to trickle down, wetting her clothes. I silently thought, “Now she’s doing things she didn’t do before,” but pretended not to notice. Ronowe, sitting to the left of Beris, didn’t miss the opportunity and scolded her mischievously, pulling a face.

For some reason, it felt like they might fight again, given Ronowe’s expression as if saying she had caught Beris red-handed.

“Beris, do you still spill milk every time you eat?”

“No!”

As expected, Beris retorted angrily, blushing. She seemed to be implying that I wasn’t always perfect.

“And you, older sister, still scribble in books frequently!”

“I was correcting the mistakes in the notation!”

Here we go again. I sighed and leaned back on the chair. The argument between the siblings was about to escalate, and soon enough, Ronowe grabbed Beris’s cheeks, pulling them as she scolded her.

“Why are you talking back to your sister?”

“Nnn nu nnu ggnudeu nnnug gru?”

Considering her condition, it seemed painful, yet Beris, displaying a reluctant demeanor, mimicked Ronowe’s words with an annoyed expression.

“You fool! Don’t mimic me!”

The siblings soon started pulling each other’s cheeks, and as the atmosphere became increasingly tense, the inexperienced Kallail stepped in to mediate.

“Stop fighting. After all, His Highness asked you to play nicely without fighting.”

Unfortunately, despite Kallail’s efforts, the siblings, due to lingering anger, continued to squabble. I sighed, muttering to myself.

“Just leave them be. They’ll stop eventually.”

Maybe it’s because they are twins, but these two fight over trivial matters. I decided to step in if it got too serious and lifted the milk bottle with one hand, taking a few sips before wiping my mouth.

I didn’t want to show myself with milk stains. One embarrassing incident was enough.

“Fluer must have grown up without any fights.”

Surprisingly composed, Praylee seemed unfazed by the commotion between Ronowe and Beris. Considering her painful past, I wondered if she would be dizzy or distressed, but Praylee was surprisingly calm, watching the siblings fight as if it were a fascinating spectacle.

“They are twins from the Yan Castle. It’s only natural for them not to have any turmoil.”

I replied to Praylee, dismissing it. Twin siblings often fight over nothing. I listened to the voices of the bickering siblings, anticipating that it might get louder, and soon, Kallail intervened once more.

“Stop fighting. You two are siblings, after all.”

I was not so sure about that. The twins seemed to find reasons to argue over anything. I leaned on the back of the chair, sighing.
“Oh, Your Highness. If the opportunity arises, I would like to play the flute for you.”

“Really?”

Wondering why the topic of flute playing came up out of the blue, I raised the end of my sentence, expressing my curiosity about the reason.

“Earlier, Your Highness opened my milk bottle cap.”

It was a little earlier, but I nodded while swallowing the rest of her words.

“I believe that if you owe something to others, you should repay it. Since Your Highness possesses the best things in the empire, it seemed inappropriate to give gifts. So, I thought I’d rather showcase what I’m best at.”

Hmm, it seemed like a reasonable judgment.

“Flute playing.”

“Sure, if that’s your principle, I’ll respect it.”

I agreed with Praylee’s opinion for now, saying that if you really want to, go ahead.

“But can you play the flute? When I tried playing the flute, it was quite breathless.”

Well, considering how difficult it was for me to handle and play the flute, I doubted whether an child who had experienced even more severe pain from it would be able to carry it around.

“Yes, I can play the flute. Although my body is not fully recovered, I can still play the flute.”

Well, it was really heavy; where did her confidence come from?

“Okay, as long as you’re not overexerting yourself.”

If she said she was okay, she would handle it skillfully, so I decided not to delve further.

“Now, let’s move slowly.”

Next, Kallail, who had been looking stern with a stern face, gestured with her head left and right, indicating reconciliation. It was fortunate that they finally stopped, but it was ridiculous that they had been fighting over such trivial matters until now.

“Since we’re in the greenhouse, it’s good to see various things.”

“Yes!”

Finally hearing the lively response from the children, I found myself leading the way with Poppie, who had run up beside me, supporting her, and taking each step at the front.

Male lead is a Destined Young Husband (Female-dominant)

One-sentence summary: Wife-master, listen to my explanation!

Li Ruantang, a young lady from a prestigious family, stumbled and fell. When she woke up, she saw a noble and beautiful young man sitting by her bedside, wiping away tears.

The young master had slightly reddened eyes, and his every move exuded charm.

The sight made Li Ruantang’s eyes hot and her heart flutter. After all, she had made a bet with the young master Meng from the neighboring family. If she couldn’t marry a husband before the end of the year, she would have to admit defeat and give up the jade she had worked so hard to obtain.

Outside the window, the flowers were in full bloom.

Rather than losing the bet, the jade, and her face, Li Ruantang calculated that it would be better to seek marriage with the young master in front of her, killing three birds with one stone.

…

Meng Jun never thought that an accident during a spring outing would lead to them rolling down a cliff and into a river, yet still survive.

Now they were trapped in an unknown village, and Meng Jun had overheard that the family who had rescued them had their own intentions.

After all, it was Li Ruantang who had lost her mind and sought marriage first. He was only trying to protect himself!

Glancing at Li Ruantang, who was listing her own merits, the young husband’s voice softened, and he blushed as he lied, “W-wife-master, Wife-master, don’t you remember me?”

The young husband’s voice was clear and handsome, coaxing Li Ruantang’s heart to be soft and sweet, and she spared no effort to protect him.

It wasn’t until they returned to the capital that Li Ruantang suddenly remembered.

When they had fallen off the cliff, in order not to implicate Wei Yunruo, whom he secretly admired, the young husband had instead pulled her, who was slightly farther away, down the cliff with him…

Short summary by Yuushi L: Initially, the male lead (ML) liked another girl, while the female lead (FL) liked the ML. Both fell off a cliff. The FL temporarily lost her memory, and the ML, fearing others might take advantage of him, claimed FL was his wife while they were staying in a village. Later, when they returned home, the FL regained her memories and remembered that the ML liked someone else, so she kept her distance from him. However, during their time living together in the countryside, the ML’s view of the FL had completely changed. From this point, his pursuit of the FL begins.
