Upon closer inspection of the pen tip, I could see the very small and delicate spelling of my name. I thought I had tried hard, touching the luxurious pattern of the silver pen tip and then feeling the red feather attached at the end.

‘There is no doubt that it’s a feather of the Phoenix race, which used to be on par with the dragons in paradise, although it doesn’t match the majesty of the dragons. However, it somewhat resembles them.’

While the dragon race, starting with Yongyong, showed a bit of interest in the second human race on the surface and exchanged some communication with a tiny minority, the Phoenix race never left their habitat beyond paradise. It’s absurd to think otherwise.

‘They were too closed-off overall, so there was hardly any interaction with them. If we happened to meet, they would politely acknowledge and feign familiarity.’

However, the mysteriously fiery red feather, reminiscent of flames, gradually turned from orange to a fresh yellow towards the bottom, making me think more and more of the Phoenix race. It so accurately resembled a presence I had forgotten, that I formulated one hypothesis.
Perhaps, someone from the second human race who visited paradise hundreds of years ago might have accidentally witnessed a phoenix and spread its appearance to later generations, leading to the creation of a similar imitation.

“Dad can do anything for me.”

Jeff, who served Ulica even when he was the Crown Prince, seemed to follow me just like Duke Tebern did back in the Sun Emperor era. I couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought that even in my reincarnation as a daughter, Jeff was doing the same. Expecting him to prepare ten things while preparing one, the weight of writing a letter felt less obligatory this time, especially as this quill pen was more suitable for my taste regardless of personal feelings toward the Phoenix race.

“Sit on the couch for a moment and wait. I’ll call you when I’m done.”

“Yes, Your Highness.”

“Understood.”

I subtly expressed not to fidget since it made me uncomfortable when someone was watching, then promptly opened the inkwell. I quickly wrote on the paper after inserting the quill pen and dabbing ink onto the pen tip.

Since there was almost no need to use ink lately, the ink I used a long time ago disappeared, and everything was replaced with new ink. However, the scent of the ink, made from rare and expensive materials, was unique enough to feel the quality, even if it didn’t match the ointment using dragon’s breath.

[Roanwe, Veris, and Kallail. Hear me, my friends.] [I have postponed our meetings due to portrait painting work.] [But now, it seems I can finally spare some time.] [Joyfully prepare to come to Bowerlian Castle.] [-Eternal Friend, Dazzling Pickadilly-]

“Ah, I forgot to ask about the well-being of Viscount Fleure.”

I urgently added a postscript message and then conscientiously wrote a letter to the Vladimir family. Annoying as it was, all these actions were meant to demonstrate the dignity of the royal family.

Anyway, I entrusted the completed letters to Miranda and Hailey. As they were obedient servants who followed orders without a word, they skillfully double-wrapped the letters. Finally, I stamped the royal wax seal on them and stretched out.

‘When everyone gathers, it will be lively for a long time.’

It was inevitable to be tired, but on the day I met the children, there were no heir lessons, only self-study. I decided to consider it a good thing.

Anyway, becoming the successor to the throne was my loss, and if I couldn’t properly control myself for such a thing, it would be a smear on my face, considering my previous life as the Sun Emperor.

So, after a few days.

On a day when the sky was clear without a single cloud, like a blue stroke on a white canvas, I took Fluerge’s children, who arrived earlier than scheduled, and headed to the outdoor gazebo with a domed roof in the garden.

Here, feeling the gentle touch of the wind brushing through, I planned to leisurely wait for Sasha, sipping juice and eating snacks.
“Your Highness, in addition to the letter you sent us last time, we’ve also received a letter from Her Majesty, the Empress.”

“What are you talking about?”

I chuckled at Ronowe’s abrupt words. While Hecate and Jeff could write letters separately, it was strange that they were individuals who would mention it if they sent any.

“She’s introducing a new friend to us.”

Ronowe seemed surprised by something I didn’t know, and the same went for Kallail and Veris.

“Well, I thought today was another day to play with you guys?”

Damn, did Hecate hide something to surprise me like a treasure hunt? Did everyone agree not to reveal anything, just like when I received Poppy in the past?

“Oh, it seems like Her Majesty, the Empress, must have hidden it!”

“That’s right! So, maybe Your Highness doesn’t know~.”

As they made a puzzled expression, the cheerful Fleure siblings speculated on a reason while eating snacks.

‘Could it be bringing a child from a noble family close to the Vladimir family as a new friend?’

Sipping on fruit juice and hoping it wouldn’t be a pestering brat, I briefly prayed for the noisy moment to pass.

“Huh?”

Ronowe put down the cup with juice and stared at someone appearing on the white marble path leading to the gazebo.

“There’s a pretty girl next to Lord Vladimir!”

Upon closer inspection, it was indeed Sasha who appeared, and next to her was a girl with platinum blonde hair and blue eyes, reminiscent of someone seen somewhere before.

“Where, where?”

The curious youngsters quickly started making a fuss, and I, with an indifferent face, clenched my fist, waiting for the girl Sasha and Hecate mentioned, who was probably a new friend, to come closer.

‘Ah, now I remember!’

Before long, when the platinum-haired girl approached, I remembered the girl who lay pale-faced in the bedroom at Vladimir Mansion, spreading the strongest aura of the dead.

“Nice to meet you, everyone.”

With her hair cut short and dressed more elaborately, she momentarily seemed like a different person. However, the platinum-haired girl was undoubtedly…

“I am Freyrie Ivanov Vladimir.”

She was Sasha’s cherished elder sister.
